Clear Progress for 5.11 Triumph Factory Racing

Donning a special Independence Day Livery, 5.11 Triumph Factory Racing team's Mikkel Haarup matched his season-best scores at the fifth round of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross season this weekend, blasting to a seventh-place finish at the 5.11 RedBud National event aboard his Triumph TF 450-X.

Haarup posted seventh in moto one, matching a career-best score for both him and the TF 450-X. It was a spirited ride too; he started in the lower half of the top ten and pushed forward to the position. The second moto was near identical, as he duked it out with the championship leaders early in the race before crossing the line to equal his result from the first outing. A 7-7 scorecard put him in seventh overall, replicating the season-best result that he first took at High Point. The TF 450-X continues to make progress in its first season, battling to its best result so far in AMA Pro Motocross at RedBud this weekend.

Jordon Smith continued his positive trajectory in his maiden 450MX season. In the first moto, he pushed from a lowly 15th to 11th at the finish line. The momentum that was gained from a better start in moto two was diminished by a minor mistake, but Smith wasn't to be denied and pushed hard to take 12th place. 11-12 scores put him in 11th overall on the day.

The hottest national thus far offered Deacon Denno yet another chance to learn and show top ten pace. The first moto included some impressive lap times as he raced around eighth place until a small crash caused him to fall to 16th. Soon enough, he rebounded to 13th with a last lap pass. The same result was acquired in moto two; four passes were made after he ended lap one in 17th. A consistent 13-13 scorecard put him 12th overall.

Austin Forkner was unable to compete at round five of AMA Pro Motocross as he continues to recover from the crash that sidelined him in Colorado.

5.11 Triumph Factory Racing will launch into the sand now, as the sixth round of 2026 AMA Pro Motocross will be held at the demanding circuit of Southwick in Massachusetts on Saturday, July 11.

Mikkel Haarup:

"It was a solid day. I think that we showed some more potential. I had mediocre starts today, so we will try to better those. My pace was good and I had two solid sevenths. I can be happy with that."

Jordon Smith:

"RedBud was a lot of fun on the TF 450-X! The riding was average today, but we made some improvements. We will keep on pushing heading into Southwick. I like the sand, so I will look to return to the top ten there."

Deacon Denno:

"The first moto was solid. I had a decent start and was eighth for half of the moto, then I had a tip over that shuffled me back. I pushed to thirteenth and finished there. I had a bad start in the second moto, so I had to work my way up the best that I could. I never gave up, finishing 13th again. 13-13 for 12th’s not bad, but I really want that top ten. We will keep on pushing."

Jeremy Coker – General Manager, Triumph Racing America:

"I'm beyond proud of this team today. The way everyone pulled together and worked as a team was amazing. All three riders put in great performances. The team will continue to work our tails off to get Triumph where it belongs."
